Bio

Marianne has sung in concert and staged works in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Oregon, Austria and Italy. She began her music studies at the University of Minnesota and received her Master of Arts in Music from the University of Iowa.

Marianne has performed as a soloist with Oregon East Symphony & Chorale where she sang Handel’s Messiah. Her debut with Portland State University Performing Arts was as soloist for a movie screening of Jewish Luck. She sings concerts with Opera on Tap Portland and has frequently participated as a soloist in Opera in the Honor’s Bar. For the last two years, she has sung with Portland Opera Chorus in their Big Night Concert. Marianne made her debut with Mock’s Crest Productions in 2019 in Yeomen of the Guard. That same year, she made her debut with Light Opera of Portland as Chloe in their production of Princess Ida. In the fall of 2020, Marianne sang Victoria Booth in a virtual production of The Secret Diaries of Pennsylvania Avenue with Renegade Opera.

Marianne made her debut with Opera Reading Project in Minneapolis, MN as a cover for Miss Jessel in Benjamin Britten’s Turn of the Screw in October 2021. She has sung with Opera on Tap Twin Cities and sang with Church of the Holy Childhood in St. Paul. She made her debut as the soprano soloist in the Minnesänger’s Vienna Soirée in 2023. She sang the role of Sirena in Francesca Caccini’s La liberazione di Ruggiero for Opera Reading Project in September 2023.
